Dr Marguerite Mendell; Professor, School of Community and Public Affairs, Concordia University; Director, Karl Polanyi Institute of Political Economy, Concordia University.

Professor Mendell has published widely on the social economy in Quebec, local development, social finance, economic democracy and on the work of Karl Polanyi, especially as it relates to contemporary political economy and democratic economic development strategies. Dr. Mendell's teaching and research areas include:

The life and work of Karl Polanyi Christian Novak, FMA; Managing Partner - Frontier Markets Advisors IncWith over 20 years of experience in the financial sector combined with over 10 years in impact investments and sustainable development projects, Christian has applied his financial structuring expertise in ground breaking capital markets transactions that raised funding to impact investments globally, and he is a leading promoter of "Pay-for-Performance" structures, including Social Impact Bonds, Development Impact Bonds, and Pay-for-Performance Grants.  He has authored several papers and he has been an active speaker in the impact investing space.
