Growing a Creative Economy: A Conference for Creativity, Collaboration & Change will take place in downtown Sydney over three days, April 14-16th and will focus on growing creative economies through collaboration.

The creative economy is increasingly recognized as a generator of economic growth and it is a vital contributor to the quality of life and pride of place in our communities. In a globalizing economy, communities, regions and nations prosper by attracting and retaining talent, entrepreneurs, creative capital and cultural infrastructure. The conference was the first to focus on the creative economy and its contribution to the growth and development of our rural and urban communities throughout Atlantic Canada.
