The Ontario Social Economy Roundtable (OSER) has identified the need to develop a Social Economy Charter to provide a common language and scope that will work to increase our cohesion and effectiveness.
The Charter will guide and inspire the work of OSER and all those working to build the movement in Ontario. It will support the handful of individuals and organizations who are working collectively to build a strong social economy to be confident that they are expressing the views of a broad constituency as they provide guidance to an increasing number of powerful allies. On Tuesday October 7 at 12:00 noon, OSER will be hosting a webinar to share more about the process of hosting a “charter conversation”. A charter conversation is a hosted meeting where people come together to spend an hour or two focusing on 2 or 3 open ended questions about principles and values. Hosts will then be able to upload notes of the group’s contribution to a Google Doc to make it part of the province-wide discussion.
