Whether you run a social enterprise, co-operative, or non-profit doing community-based development, service is at the heart of your mission and is crucial for your success. But, it can be hard to keep a focus on excellent service in the face of tight budgets and the complex challenges you’re working on in your communities. This active-learning session will cover the basics of creating a service culture in your organization. This will improve your internal organization and ensure the great work, service, or programs you offer are accessible and useful for your community.

Learning outcomes include: exploring the key elements of professionalism, mapping your client/customer experience, managing risk, dealing with challenging situations, and coaching for service excellence. Take away a self-assessment and the beginnings of a personal action plan to improve the service culture of your organization.
