This dynamic and interactive one-day session for staff and volunteers working in the non-profit sector focuses on “doing the right things right.”

By the end of the workshop, you will:

  • have a practical planning tool to determine the most successful and effective fundraising and resource development techniques for your organization
  • understand key fundraising markets and techniques
  • secure practical, hands-on tips, tools and materials as well as a resource kit to help you achieve your goals
  • be armed with ideas that you can implement quickly and cost efficiently!
  • Format: An interactive workshop with opportunities to ask questions and tailor information to your own organization.

About the instructor:

Suzanne Gibson has been “awakening the potential” of Canadian non-profit organizations for more than 20 years. As a consultant, she supports organizations to “dream big” and unite around an idea, strategy or plan to turn those dreams into reality. She has been an instructor at York University’s Schulich School of Business in the Non-profit Management and Leadership Program for executive education, as well as at St. Francis Xavier University’s Coady Institute. Suzanne has taken a leadership role on seven volunteer boards, and speaks extensively on fund development, leadership and other issues of importance to the non-profit sector.

Cost: Regular fee for one day workshop: $140 plus HST.

Discounted rates:  Second and subsequent workshops for the same person; or more than one participant from the same organization: $125 plus HST.

Student rate: $50 plus HST.
