Social Procurement generates a social value from existing purchasing
Buy Social Canada is hosting its National Summit November 27-28 in Gatineau, QC on the theme “Exploring the Future of Social Procurement.” The Summit will bring together a collection of purchasers from government and business, as well as representatives of social enterprise suppliers to engage in a full day of discovering their common goals, identifying barriers, and seeking solutions that will contribute to the future of social procurement.

Around 200-250 participants are expected at the Summit. Social enterprises that wish to promote their products and services are offered two options for engagement:
- For $25, an item from a social enterprise can be placed into the tote bag provided the social enterprise delivers the item to the conference location at its own cost
- Social enterprise exhibitor tables are available for the discounted price of $100 + the price of 1 Summit pass.
