Seedling for Change in Society and Environment, Simply Sustainable, Leah Feor and Tom Jakop from Social Enterprise Niagara are partnering to bring to Niagara for the first time ever an inclusive and diverse collaborative space where you can give your skills, competencies, and knowledge a renewed sense of purpose and direction to create and contribute positive impact in communities across Niagara.
Our working definition: Social enterprising is about mobilizing your passion and resources to realize your full potential in a financially sustainable way for social impact. You start by going around talking to people and getting to know about common wants and needs and then develop together action steps for success for a common good.
Help us prepare by answering the following questions:
- If you could create your own job, what would it be?
- How would this job contribute to society?
- Who would you bring on board or invite to give you a hand with it?
- Workshop facilitators speak English, French, and Spanish. What other languages you speak?
