TEF - ESE Idea Accelerator Information Session - Webinar12:00pm to 1:00pm Eastern Time

You're invited to join us on September 20th for a lunchtime Information Session about TEF's new Employment Social Enterprise Idea Accelerator.

The ESE Idea Accelerator is a program that provides support for individuals and organizations in Peel, Toronto and York Region to explore and strengthen an early-stage 'employment social enterprise' business idea. Employment social enterprises (ESEs) are businesses that create training and employment opportunities for people facing barriers to the labour market (e.g. people with disabilities, newcomers, youth). Participants of the ESE Idea Accelerator will have the opportunity to pitch for a 'Catalyzing Grant' of between $5,000 - $10,000 to complete a feasibility study and develop a business plan.

  • An overview of employment social enterprises, including: types, key features, employment standards and more
  • An introduction to TEF's ESE Idea Accelerator program, including: eligibility, application instructions, program details, key dates, and pitch competition details
  • An opportunity to ask questions about the employment social enterprise model and the ESE Idea Accelerator program
