The Social Economy Research Network of Northern Canada (SERNNoCa) is currently conducting a search for a new Coordinator for Theme 2 of this research program. The past theme coordinator has recently retired and this has created a vacancy in our research team. This theme will address resource regimes and the social economy in the North. Research under this theme will examine the past, present and potential impact of varying resource extraction regimes on the development of the social economy and the evolution of government programs. The new Coordinator must be a faculty member of a Canadian University with research interests relating to this area of study in Northern regions of Canada.
