Sierra Club BC is a non-profit conservation organization currently in need of an Education Program Registrar and Assistant Coordinator for our Take Action! Student Engagement Programs. We are seeking keen, creative and highly energetic folk to join our school program delivery team. You are a self starter with first rate organizational, communications and creativity skills who is interested in not only assisting the daily office operations, but keen to contribute creatively to the larger growth and development of the Education Program.

Primary focus of this position is on school program registration and coordinating school program delivery staff. General support for the Education Program and key responsibilities include program registration and scheduling (including teacher liaison and database maintenance); logistical planning for team travel; financial tracking and managing travel budgets; co-development and distribution of learning resources with opportunities to contribute to the development of monthly e-newsletters, bi-monthly elementary school newsletters and lesson plans, and other communication associated with marketing and the promotion of the Sierra Club's Education Program.

This unique position gives you the opportunity to wear several hats, requiring a variety of skills. The right applicant, with aptitude and skills in youth facilitation may also have the opportunity to co-facilitate for the Sustainable High Schools Project (SHS).
