Heifer International combats hunger, alleviates poverty, and restores the environment by sharing appropriate livestock, training, and related services to small-scale farmers worldwide. The Canadian Prairies region of Heifer Canada is searching for an interim field coordinator for Manitoba. Located in or near Winnipeg the duties of this 7-month term position include: supporting current and prospective project partners in the areas of participatory community development, project reporting, and connecting groups to local training opportunities and related capacity-building activities.

The role of the interim Field Coordinator is to facilitate Heifer Canada's program with project development and monitoring in rural and urban areas throughout Manitoba. A significant part of this position is to support current and prospective project partners in the areas of participatory community development, project reporting, and connecting groups to local training opportunities and related capacity-building activities. The Field Coordinator may also assist in regional-based trainings within the 7-month term. The Field Coordinator will manage her or his own operations budget and produce monthly reports.
