The District of Saanich was selected as one of five BC municipalities to host an Intern starting in June, 2008. This new program, sponsored by the Local Government Management Association (LGMA), provides a one year opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience in a municipal government setting by contributing their time, energy and expertise to special projects while working in a municipality.
