Qualifications:
• Work independently and alongside others.
• Ability to co-ordinate and schedule tasks, supervise youth volunteers, facilitate workshops
• Relate to diverse groups ie: ages, cultures and backgrounds
• Understanding of confidentiality
• An understanding of issues facing families and children living in low income situations
• Basic office and computer skills
• Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills
• First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check and a provincial child abuse
registry check
• Must be prepared to work evenings and weekends.
• Knowlege of community development practices an asset
• Priority given to residents of St. John's and the North End
