The preferred candidate will have strong community engagement and research skills and the ability to lead and inspire a highly motivated team of eight. In addition, the candidate will have superior facilitation and negotiation skills, strong initiative, creative problem solving skills, and proven capacity to promote the work of the Community Council and build strategic partnerships.
Ideally the candidate will have a level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Community Planning or related discipline, and seven to ten years leadership experience.
The salary range for this position will be $60,000 to $70,000.
