Program components include:
• Community Outreach
• Relationship Building
• Networking
• Planning a strategy with the involvement of the community to address outstanding issues
• Leadership training and development that focuses on capacity building within the community
Applicants must have community development experience and training, strong organizational ability, strong communication skills and knowledge of issues involving poverty as well as some early childhood development knowledge. Post secondary education and/or experience in working on the above issues in a community setting would be an asset.
