There are still places available for the 2008-2009 Katimavik program. We would appreciate it if you could pass this information on to anyone aged 17 to 21 years in your association.

Katimavik is a unique Canadian youth volunteer service program, the only initiative of its kind in Canada for over thirty years. Katimavik mission is to foster the personal development of our nation young people through a challenging program of volunteer community work, training and group interaction. Participants therefore have the chance to contribute to community development and live out new experiences while discovering Canada, all expenses paid; they even earn a $1,000 bursary after completing the 9-month program.
