Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op (CNYC) strives to empower at-risk youth by providing them with innovative skill training, part time employment, and cultural and recreational opportunities. Youth work towards completing their high school education as well as learning skills such as woodworking that they can use towards gaining employment in the community.

Desired skills and experience:

• actively involved with Aboriginal culture and spirituality
• connected to Elders and cultural resources
• experience working with Aboriginal and at-risk youth
• strong organizational skills
• ability to work well with others
• good communication skills
• basic computer skills an asset
• education in a human services field an asset

Rate of pay: $17/hour, 20 hours per week.
