Manitoba Eco-Network - Coordinator/Office Manager
Manitoba Eco-Network, a charitable environmental organization, seeks a committed, energetic individual to fill the role of Coordinator/Office Manager. This close to full-time job involves managing membership services and communications with our 50 Member organizations and our individual members, managing the organization's databases and website, co-ordinating volunteers, and co-ordinating functions of our office and the EcoCentre. Other tasks will include providing information referra for environmental queries, and co-ordinating events.
The Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director and other project staff. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of a range of environmental issues in Manitoba and Canada, excellent oral and written communication skills, proven experience with Microsoft office suite including databases, power point and word processing and will be able to work in a busy, team-oriented environment.
The position requires some flexibility as occasional evening or weekend hours are called for. Knowledge and experience with HTML and design software will be an asset.
Starting salary from $30,000 to $32,000 Full Time Equivalent, depending on qualifications.
