Job Description
Opportunities For Employment is a private, faith-based, non-profit organization. Our mission is to assist adults to achieve self-sufficiency through meaningful full-time, long-term employment. We are currently looking for applicants for the full-time (1 year term with possibility of extension) position of Employment Consultant. This position provides coaching and support to OFE job seekers. Responsibilities include: developing and implementing employment plans; assisting individuals in finding employment; promoting OFE services to employers and providing effective follow-up services.

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of job searching techniques, consulting experience, superior interpersonal skills, and be an effective team member. Post-secondary education in a related field or the equivalent in experience is required. Experience in an employment agency and group facilitation skills would be an asset.

A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required. The successful applicant must supply a criminal record check.
