SNA is looking for a Garden of Eatin' Project Coordinator working with 6-12 year olds in the SNA Kids Community Garden
1 Half-time position (20 hours a week-9 weeks approx). $9.50 /hour
Applicant must be between 16-24 yrs of age.
9 week summer programming

The applicant:

• must have experience, education or training in working with youth, coaching, teaching or recreational programming.
• must be able to provide clear direction and feed back to volunteers, youth participants and youth assistants.
• must have an in depth understanding of inner city communities.
• must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• must enjoy outdoor work, and be willing to work well with other youth program leaders and volunteers.
• must be able to provide a current criminal record check and child registry check.
• must be able to work afternoons/evenings/flexible schedule.
• must have experience in gardening and composting.
• Creativity and an interest in the natural world and science an asset.
• Current First aid and CPR training and Drivers Licence are assets.
