Supporting Employment and Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (SEED) is a community economic development organization. SEED operates programs that help low-income individuals and groups start or expand existing businesses through a microenterprise program, or a social enterprise and worker co-op program.
Job Description:
SEED is seeking a Business Counsellor to deliver group business training, and work with clients and groups to plan, develop, start/expand businesses, including cooperatives and social enterprises.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have strong business acumen, cooperative development experience with demonstrated facilitation, business counselling and mentorship skills, and experience working with diverse client groups. Small business experience, strong written and oral communication skills, sound judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to work as part of a team in a non-profit environment are required.
