Responsibilities
- Maintains office hours from 1:00 to 4:30
- Administrative duties include: preparing information packages and correspondence, receiving and routing mail and faxes, filing, data entry, etc.
- Maintains filing system, website links and mailing lists
- Responsible for e-newsletter, list-serve and on-line calendar
- Requisitions, receives and stocks office supplies and pamphlets
- Distributes resources to public and staff
- Maintains up-to-date statistics (collects, collates, records and provides agency stats to ED)
- Day-to–day accounting (issuing cheques, petty cash, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access) and an internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome) in a Microsoft Windows XP environment
- Operates office equipment including computer and software, photocopier, fax and answering machine; coordinates maintenance and repair of all equipment as necessary
- Participates in meetings and records minutes as necessary
