Terms of Employment:  Temporary (37.5 hours per week)
Salary Scale:  $48,978-$57,622 (according to experience)

CEDEC is hiring an Interim Director to work in its office located in the Gaspésie region.  

Responsibilities:
•    Plan, develop and administer, with CEDEC volunteers and colleagues, the development

     of the CEDEC action plan
•    Supervise an Administrative Assistant and other staff/contractors
•    Establish and administer appropriate office and personnel work plans
•    Manage the operations activities of the CEDEC office and work in cooperation with CEDEC

     volunteers
•    Plan, organize, direct and support the establishment of community planning processes
•    Establish, manage and maintain strategic partnerships in communities
•    Establish and maintain the CEDEC knowledge base

Characteristics of an ideal candidate:
•    Possess a University Degree or a post-secondary certification/qualification and relevant  

     work experience
•    A dynamic leader
•    Strong English-language skills
•    Knowledge of the English-speaking community
•    Strong French-language skills
•    Networking and partnership building capabilities
•    Self-reliant with the ability to work in a flexible structure
•    Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office
•    Able and willing to travel
