Terms of Employment:  Temporary (37.5 hours per week) 
Salary Scale:  $48,978-$57,622 (according to experience) 
 
CEDEC is hiring an Interim Director to work in its Eastern Townships office.   
 
Responsibilities: 
 Work with a dynamic team  across Québec to carry out successfully projects within the 2012-2013 
CEDEC action plan 
 Supervise an Administrative Assistant and other staff/contractors 
 Establish and administer appropriate office and personnel work plans 
 Manage the operations activities of the CEDEC office and work in cooperation with CEDEC volunteers 
 Establish, manage and maintain partnerships in communities 
 Establish and maintain the CEDEC knowledge base 
Characteristics of an ideal candidate: 
 Possess a university degree or a post-secondary certification/qualification and relevant work experience 
 Demonstrated leadership, human relations and problem solving skills 
 Strong English-language skills 
 Knowledge of the English-speaking community 
 Strong French-language skills 
 Networking and partnership building capabilities 
 Self-reliant with the ability to work in a flexible structure 
 Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office 
 Able and willing to travel
