About the Position:
Program Coordinator – Manitoba Micro Loan Program for Skilled Immigrants
Supporting Employment and Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (SEED) is a community economic development organization. We operate programs that help low-income individuals and groups start or expand existing businesses, and assist participants to save for and invest in personal assets.
SEED is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Manitoba Micro Loan Program for Skilled Immigrants. The successful candidate will possess a strong client-focus and will be responsible for the daily program operations, including client intake, assessment, financial literacy training, monitoring and follow-up. Postsecondary education in business, finance, economics or a related discipline is required, plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a lending and/or financial services environment.
Salary range is $40 K to $50 K per year and is based on qualifications and experience. SEED offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
This position requires strong business acumen, knowledge and experience with international qualifications recognition for various industries, excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional planning and organizing ability, and sound interpersonal skills and judgment in a fast paced environment. Strong computer and organizational skills are essential. The ability to work as part of a team in a non-profit environment is required. Fluency in a language other than English is an asset.
