About the Position:
SEED is seeking a Program Manager for the Manitoba Micro Loan Program for Skilled Immigrants. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the program, planning and monitoring program budgets, submission of funding proposals and service claims, monitoring data collection activities and management of program staff.
Salary range is $50 K to $60 K per year and is based on qualifications and experience. SEED offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics or a related discipline is required, plus a minimum of five years’ experience in program development, management and evaluation involving both internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience working with an in-depth understanding of issues facing immigrant populations, particularly in the areas of international qualifications recognition for various industries, as well as a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a lending and/or financial services environment.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills and advanced interpersonal skills and judgment in a fast paced environment are also required. Strong computer and organizational skills are essential. The ability to work as part of a team in a non-profit environment is required. Fluency in a language other than English is an asset.
