About the Position:

Supporting Employment and Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (SEED) is a community economic development organization. We operate programs that help low- income individuals and groups start or expand businesses. SEED is seeking a Business Counsellor to deliver business training, and work with clients and groups to plan, develop, and start/expand businesses, including cooperatives and social enterprises.

Salary range is $40K to $60K and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have strong business acumen, cooperative development experience with demonstrated facilitation, business counselling and mentorship skills, and experience working with diverse client groups. Small business experience, strong written and oral communication skills, sound judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to work as part of a team in a non-profit environment are required.
