COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR (1 year term, full-time)

 Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, implement and evaluate organizational communication plan
  • Development, distribution and maintenance of all print and electronic materials
  • Design, develop, maintain and update content for HiC website and social media
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement in the development of communication products

 

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in communications and experience with a not for profit organization in this role
  • Strong facilitation and consultation skills
  • Experience preparing print and electronic for various target audiences
  • Experience using social media to engage stakeholders
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting and with community agencies
  • Knowledge and understanding of program planning and evaluation
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
