The Position: Affinity Credit Union is looking for an exceptional, results-driven Community Development Manager who can provide focus and support to the credit union’s community economic development and member education initiatives. This is a remarkable opportunity for the right person.

Within the framework of the credit union strategic plan and annual operating plan, this position will identify partnership opportunities and provide support and delivery of community economic development initiatives of Affinity Credit Union across the province. This position helps the credit union respond visibly and effectively to needs in the community within the various Districts in our organization.
 
Qualifications: 
 Post-secondary education in Public/Business Administration, Social Sciences or Humanities.
 Experience in economic development working with SME’s. (Small Medium Enterprises)
 Understanding of commercial and consumer lending as it relates to business plans, financial statements and financial management.
 Two to three years of management experience is preferred.
 Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
 
The Credit Union / Organization: Affinity Credit Union is the second largest credit union in Saskatchewan and is comprised of nine Districts, including a First Nations District. It provides access to a complete range of financial products and services including every-day banking, insurance, mortgages, and wealth management products to 95,000 member-owners though a network of 44 branches in 36 communities across Saskatchewan. Affinity commits at least 3 per cent of its annual pre-tax profits to community support each year.
