Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post secondary institution in a field relevant to the position.
Experience
Significant experience in the strategic planning and delivery of programs that support the advancement of First Nations and/or other communities.
Experience in providing strategic and policy advice to senior officials and stakeholders.
Experience in developing and maintaining productive client relations, strategic partnerships and networks.
Experience in conducting consultations and negotiations with First Nations or other communities, other levels of government and other government departments.
Experience in managing financial and human resources.
*Significant is defined as having accomplished a broad variety of complex activities related to the work for a minimum of 3 years.

- CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Security Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance This factor is not used at the preselection stage. The hiring department is responsible for the security clearance process.
- OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Ability and willingness to travel to urban and remote locations.
