Request for Proposals (RFP)

The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is looking for a researcher or research team to conduct a study of the Future Fund investments to Support Youth Social Entrepreneurship in Ontario. We expect the researcher(s) will take a developmental evaluation approach to develop an innovative and informative study of the impact of the Future Fund program, using a collective impact lens. The study is expected to start in January 2013 and will be issued through MERX.

As such, OTF is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to invite prospective proponents to submit proposals for this study. The RFP will be posted on MERX.

Although collective impact is increasingly gaining traction as an effective model of collaboration, there have been little in-depth studies at the landscape level. Other collective impact studies focus on models of shared service delivery that benefit a specific population group. We are hoping that the Future Fund collective impact study contribute to this body of knowledge by exploring how the Foundation’s approach with the Future Fund has contributed to furthering whole systems change, transformative change.

Through a developmental evaluation approach, the study will facilitate action learning for Future Fund grantees and the Foundation. It will help OTF learn from the process while at the same time recognizing that the Foundation is a partner in the process. This will support grant outcomes.
