Position:
Manitoba Green Retrofit is a Non-Profit Social Enterprise contractor operating in several sectors within
Winnipeg. MGR is currently seeking a full-time office manager. The selected candidate will hold a core position within the organization to help see it achieve successful outcomes in its mandate.
Qualifications:
- Experience in office operations and procedures.
- Experience coordinating normal business activities and general administration duties; including filing and reception.
- Experience preparing for AGMS, Board Meetings, and Staff meetings.
- Experience preparing basic financial statements/ reports.
- Experience with technology related to office management and basic bookkeeping ie. Excel, Word, emailing programs, QuickBooks, photocopiers, scanners…
Skills:
- Efficient.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping such as: invoicing, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of and experience with standard HR practices.
- Knowledge of website maintenance an asset.
- Ability and experience working independently and as part of a team
- Ability adapt to the pace and changes in the non-profit sector, and
- A care and knowledge of Inner City issues.
