The Heritage Community in Regina (formerly Core) is seeking an energetic Executive Director who can engage community members and work cooperatively with the City of Regina, the HCA board and staff, and relevant service organizations to deliver programs that will make our community even better. This fearless leader will be responsible for the development, promotion and coordinator of a broad range of community development activities, programs and events in the Heritage community. Heritage is a dynamic neighbourhood undergoing some major changes, and we are looking for someone with a vision for the kind of community we aspire to be; a strategic thinker who can get things done!

The ideal candidate would have: 
- An affinity for the Heritage Community Post-secondary degree or diploma in community development or social sciences.
- Management/administrative experience
- Experience with Boards and Committees within the non-profit sector.
- An ability to work independently and cooperatively and to juggle diverse responsibilities that range from sourcing and writing grant proposals to publishing a community newsletter, from volunteer recruitment to festival planning, and from long-term financial planning to keeping the books in order.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills are essential. Ability to do a lot with a limited budget.
- A demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Simply Accounting, or basic website 
management, and social media. A knack for fundraising and event organizing.
- The desire and ability to pick up new skills, and the ability to work well with existing employees and board members.
