DIRECTOR, PHILANTHROPY
 

We are currently seeking a Director, Philanthropy to join our team.
 

Reporting to the Vice President, Donor Relations & Resource Development and leading a team of Individual Giving Managers, this strategic position will:

 

• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers using proven and innovative fundraising, market research, and data analysis strategies

to develop and deliver resource development initiatives

 

• Through networking, consulting, and information sharing, help develop and maintain existing relationships and create new ones with major

donors, foundations, agency partners and other organizations

 

• Lead the Major Giving and Leadership Giving programs

 

• Collaborate with the Director, Campaign to achieve annual campaign goals

 

You are a strong, experienced leader with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding fundraising revenue goals. Dedicated to developing lasting relationships and making Winnipeg a better place to live, you possess:

 

• A degree or diploma in a related fi eld

 

• A minimum of 5 years or more of relevant fundraising experience in a leadership role

 

• Knowledge of group processes, voluntarism, community needs,corporate structures, business trends and labour organizations

 

• Experience working with volunteers and building strong relationships

 

• Project planning, implementation, monitoring and assessment capabilities

 

• Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines

 

• Certifi ed Fundraising Executive designation is considered an asset
