Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Word processing, Spreadsheet, Database
Specific Skills: Interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background and career goals, Assist clients to develop job readiness skills and job search strategies, Collect labour market information for clients regarding job openings and entry and skill requirements, Teach clients how to write resumes and prepare for job interviews, Counsel workers on work, and career-related issues, Provide consulting services to organizations that provide community-based career planning resources
Additional Skills: Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use
