Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Educational Programs and Services will be responsible to lead change and oversee the strategic transformation and the operational administration of Ka Ni Kanichihk education and training programs and services including policy development, financial reporting, and human resource management.
The Director of Educational Programs and Services will oversee the significant expansion of Ka Ni Kanichihk’s educational and essential skills division. The Director will provide advice, recommendations and manage the successful implementation and execution of operational strategies as well as the day-to-day operations of this division.
In this role, the Director will provide leadership, motivation and innovation while assisting in the implementation and monitoring of program funding, program delivery budgets, human resource management and addressing complex operational problems. The Director will be responsible for the development and control of risk management strategies as well as establishing and maintaining corporate policies and procedures.
With a strong track record as an accomplished leader and communicator, combined with knowledge and experience working with Aboriginal organizations, the Director will possess a post-secondary education or appropriate experience in business, public administration, human resources management or other relevant field. The successful candidate will have progressive management experience in organizations particularly in the areas of program development.
The successful candidate will thrive on building strong relationships both internal to the organization and externally with Ka Ni Kanichihk’s many public and private sector stakeholders.
