The Friends of Sherbrook Pool was established in 1992 to create accessible programming and use of Sherbrook Pool and ensure the viability of the pool as a recreation facility and Winnipeg landmark. FOSP requires a new part time coordinator to carry out these duties in cooperation with the community board.

Duties
• Coordinate KidSwim and TeenSwim programs, as well as summer camp.
• Develop new partnership for pool programming and help plan programs.
• Implement the action plan related to the closure of the Sherbrook Pool, including the community consultations and reopening of the pool.

Qualifications
• Experience and training in coordination and leadership of swimming and other children and youth swimming/recreation programs/activities.
• Life Saving Certificate, child abuse registry check, and first aid certification.
• Experience working with diverse groups to promote community assets and initiatives.
• Experience with managing social media, web site, and communications.
• Experience working with volunteers and a board of directors in advocacy and not for profit setting requiring fundraising, fund reporting and regular board meetings.

Hours and Pay
25 hours per week, schedule is flexible, must be available one night per week during the school year. Wage $18.00 per hour.
