Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet ALL of the following eligibility criteria:
- 15 to 30 years of age
- Out of school and out of work
- Legally entitled to work in Ontario
- Experiencing barriers to employment
- Not receiving Employment Insurance benefits
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or conferred refugee
Job Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective written communications skills
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills (second language an asset)
- Excellent organizational skills and Problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel
- Team orientated with an ability to work independently
- Positive, can-do attitude

Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting all walk-in clients and visitors
- All telephone duties pertaining to the efficient operation of main console and telephone system
- All duties pertaining to courier service, delivery service, and mail
- Type reports, correspondence, teaching materials, budgets, evaluations, minutes, etc.
- Support with resource and information function, identify, order and organize resources
- Keep confidential all personal knowledge about participants/clients, their backgrounds and evaluations, etc.
- Maintain client records, files and various database
- Keep appointment schedules
- Participate in promoting the Occupational Health & Safety Policy Statement
- Participate in health and safety education and training.
- Work in compliance with all LEF health and safety policies and procedures.
- General Office duties and other duties as assigned
Employment Details:
Wage: $10.25/hr
Hours: 1 pm - 9 pm Mon-Fri
Employement Terms: 37.5 hrs/ week for 23-week program combines a work experience internship, employability workshops, and one-on-one employment coaching
