The Peterborough Community Futures Development Corporation (PCFDC) is seeking a General Manager who reports directly to the Board of Directors and has overall management responsibility.
About PCFDC
PCFDC is a community based, not-for-profit organization located in Peterborough, ON in the beautiful Kawartha region. Its mandate, through Government of Canada funding, is to provide access to capital, business consulting services and community economic development through community dialogue, planning and the delivery of initiatives that help finance and assist small businesses and social enterprises maintain or create jobs and promote local prosperity.
About the Position:
The preferred candidate will be knowledgeable of private sector business and economic development initiatives and possess exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. They are a visionary, innovator and strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and proven record through collaboration for successfully building strong and effective business and community stakeholder relations and partnerships.
Qualifications:
Applicants will have significant management experience with extensive knowledge of commercial financing practices, a sound understanding of loan and lending policies and possess a business related degree. It would be an asset to be bilingual and have worked with a Board of Directors.
