Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc. is a nonprofit, community based; Aboriginal led human services organization that provides a range of Aboriginal identified programs and services that focus on wholeness and wellness and that builds on the strengths and resilience of Aboriginal Peoples.

Information and Office Administrative Assistant (IOAA) is a community based training program of Neeginan Institute of Applied Technology and accredited through Red River College. The program provides training in a number of computer software applications and communication skills for use in businesses and organizations.

Instructor (40hrs per week)

Qualifications

Working as part of an Education Team and independently, the classroom instructor will:

• Possess a university degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 3 years of instructing/facilitating classes;
• Have experience in delivering courses in Business Communications, Business Math and Office 2007 inclusive of Excel, Access, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint, and Vista Operating System;
• Have experience working with Aboriginal women, knowledgeable of and committed to anti- racism education and approaches;
• Practice and possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication, both written and oral, and professional work behavior;
• Have experience in preparation and delivery of curriculum, management of student academic progress, and report writing;
• Provide creative leadership, mentorship and support to their students.
