BUILD is a non-profit social enterprise and on-the-job training program.
We require the services of an experienced Apartment Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for hands-on-training and supervising individuals who face multiple barriers to employment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in maintenance related field required;
- Experience in construction industry an asset;
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory;
- Experience in teaching and supervising considered an asset;
- Knowledge of WHMS and safety protocols on job sites;
- Willing to obtain criminal record check and child abuse registry check.
- Understanding of apartment turnovers and refreshes;
- Must have understanding of a variety of renovation skills and general
- Knowledgeable in flooring and tiling;
- Experience in estimating time and material required;
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service;
- Good conflict resolution skills;
- Knowledge and awareness of the impact of poverty on communities considered an asset;
- Ability to work independently and enforce BUILDs policies and protocols.
