Responsibilities:
The Director Community Investment is a key member of the strategic management team that drives our mission and contributes to the vision of the United Way movement within our identified priority areas.

 

Qualifications:
As a specialist in the sector you are a collaborative leader with a strong understanding of the social issues facing the region. You have the ability to manage key community strategies, create partnerships and build stakeholder relationships to meet organizational goals, further community interests, and create social change.

 

You have demonstrated analytical, research, and evaluation skills and you have a strong understanding of outcome based funding.

 

Your experience working with internal and external stakeholders is based on operating in a complex institutional, social and political environment, with sensitivity to individuals and conditions in different cultural and organizational contexts. You also have a strong record of working successfully with volunteers and volunteer management.

 

Beyond this experience you have a graduate degree in a relevant discipline, with five- seven years experience in a senior management position.
