The Collective Impact Facilitator helps to establish collective impact as a more effective way of achieving larger gains in poverty reduction and health equity through multi-sector collaboration. While focusing on working with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), Winnipeg Poverty Reduction Council (WPRC), and the joint WRHA/WPRC Health Equity Collective Impact Advisory Committee, the Collective Impact Facilitator focuses on developing collective impact capacity and action to address poverty and promote health equity.
Specifically, the Collective Impact Facilitator will:
- Support WPRC collective impact projects as assigned
- Assist and support other organizations and multi-sector collaborations to develop collective impact strategies related to poverty reduction and health equity
- Provide training and mentorship to WPRC, WRHA and other partners embarking on collective impact work
- Research and develop inventory of collective impact resources
- Liaise with Innoweave and Tamarack to organize Collective Impact workshop(s) in Winnipeg
You possess the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:
- Bachelor degree in community development, social work, public health, city planning or related field. Master degree preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ of related experience; with collective impact training preferred
- Expertise in establishing shared agendas, working collaboratively across sectors, departments, and/ or organizations
- Experience in measurement and evaluation of outcomes
- Experience with group facilitation
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience with developing community engagement strategies and consultations
- Knowledgeable about systems related to poverty and health
