The person in this position is responsible for leading professional communication and coordinating professional development activities on behalf of the Association. Duties will include:
- Management of all website content
- Coordination of social media strategy and content with the 4 Ontario CFDC networks and the national network
- Production of monthly e-newsletter
- Organization of annual conference workshops, plenary speakers and sponsors
- Coordination of training for CFDC staff, based on consultation with the 4 Ontario CFDC networks
- Promotion of Community Futures Leadership Institute staff certification and Board training modules
- Liaison with Contact North online learning
Qualifications/Skill Requirements:
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in English and French required
- Post-secondary education in a related program, e.g. Communications and Public Affairs, Adult Learning
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and relationship management
- Experience in providing services to a membership organization in the not-for-profit sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proactive, organized, self-motivated, accountable
- Ability to work as a team player with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to travel, use of own vehicle, valid driver’s license
