What are we looking for?
A creative and thoughtful evaluation expert (or team) to support the development of a sector-driven evaluation framework for Ontario nonprofits. The Evaluation Expert will have stellar expertise in nonprofit evaluation, a strong approach to shared leadership, experience working in networks and passion for strengthening Ontario’s nonprofit sector.
What will the Resident Evaluation Expert do?
Working with a Program Associate, ONN staff and an advisory group of sector leaders, the Evaluation Expert will play a lead research and advisory role. Duties will include research, consultation and writing to support the development of a sector-driven evaluation framework and strategic support for the engagement of our network in the work.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- Exceptional expertise with nonprofit sector evaluation
- Strong facilitative experience in the nonprofit sector and/or strategic consulting experience with multi-organization or networked projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Experience in, knowledge of and passion for Ontario’s nonprofit sector
- Ability to plan and carry out complex assignments within tight deadlines

Compensation
- 2 year advisory role (estimated 5-8 days per month for the project’s duration)
- Salary negotiable, based on a per diem, commensurate with experience
- Office location negotiable, with some meetings in Toronto
