The Town of Raymond is located just 20 minutes south of Alberta`s fourth largest city, Lethbridge and approximately one hour north of the Canada-U.S. International Border. We have been enjoying tremendous population growth with 875 new residents moving into our community since 2006, making the population 4080 citizens representing a 27.3% increase.
This EXCITING new position will provide leadership and vision for the Community Services Department and will assist the management team in advising the CAO in the overall planning, coordination and control of departmental activities.

- Parks and Open Spaces
- Social Programming and Social & Community Development
- Community Planning and Development Services
- Safety Codes Compliance
- Cemetery and Golf Course
- Economic Development, Tourism and Technology
Requirements:
- Combination of Experience and Education in Economic Development, Urban Planning, Recreation Management, Social/Leisure Programming, Tourism, Historical Preservation and a Clear Understanding of Recreation Facility Operations
- Exceptional Leadership Skills, with a Proven Track Record of Professional Success
- Excellent Communication Skills; displayed through dealings with Citizens, Potential Clients, Staff members and the Council
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point
- Big Picture Mentality with a Desire for Continuous Learning
