Looking for a chance to hone your skills in marketing, graphic design, social media?

Struggling to afford office space? Want to help build an innovative and creative new co-working space community, committed to values of diversity, sustainability, social justice, and community?

Join Riverdale Hub’s work exchange program! Spend one day a week at the Hub helping with marketing for our event spaces, community art gallery, cafe, co-working space, yoga and dance studio, and gardens. In return, get two days a week to pursue your own projects out of our beautiful, green, open-concept office space, rent-free, for your first 3 months as a coworking space member.

We seek volunteers who:

  • are freelancing or working for a socially/environmentally conscious nonprofit organization, social enterprise, community group, or personal project and
  • are eager to spend 1-2 additional days a week at the Hub doing your own work/projects and  engaging actively as coworking space members
  • can commit to 3+ months as paying member-tenants following work exchange.

No volunteer obligations during paying member-tenant period. Memberships start at $80/mo.

Program length: 3 months volunteering; followed by 3+ months as paying member-tenant

Application deadline: Rolling admissions; interviews start July 4. Apply early!

About Us

Riverdale Hub is a green-design building and social enterprise hub in Toronto's east end, housing event/conference/arts spaces, a co-working space, a Fair Trade cafe, and more. Our co-working space is open-concept, with shared “hot desks” and designated desks, plus two enclosed offices. We are bringing together artists, environmentalists, social entrepreneurs, small non-profits, freelancers and activists to build community, form relationships, and collaborate.
