One Year Term – Full Time
Supporting Employment and Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (SEED) is a community economic development organization. We operate programs to support individuals living on low incomes to access government benefits, save for the future and build their assets. SEED also works to address poverty through systems and policy change. The Asset Building Program Coordinator will be responsible for working with participants to complete tax returns and apply for government benefits, engaging in financial problem solving sessions, facilitating financial literacy education, and delivering matched savings programs. This work entails supporting individuals facing barriers to financial inclusion with self-advocacy and navigating complex bureaucratic systems. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience engaging in program development and designing training sessions for adult learners. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with a diversity of community members. This position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
