Survivor’s Hope Crisis Centre is a registered charitable organization working in North Eastern Manitoba to address sexual violence and relationship abuse (www.survivors-hope.ca). We offer multiple programs in the region: school based workshops, community and service provider educational programming, and sexual assault crisis intervention services.
The PROGRAM FACILITATOR POSITION is an indefinite term position, up to 20 hours per week. The starting wage is dependent on experience ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour).
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Work with staff to develop and deliver programming for school based groups, service providers and client groups in North Eastman Manitoba, with a focus in Powerview-Pine Falls and Sagkeeng First Nation
- Work with staff to deliver region specific programming
- Travel throughout the region required– mileage covered
- Other related responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant education/experience in the fields of Education/Social Services
- Demonstrated experience with workshop delivery and public speaking
- Experience working with youth
- Program development experience an asset
- Experience with standard computer software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as well as independently
- Clear child and adult abuse and criminal records checks prior to start date
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
