Citizens’ Bridge is a one stop shop for supporting clients to get identification documents a bank account and drivers licence. Its mission is to assist individuals with identification procurement, open a bank account, financial literacy workshops, and driver education course. We work in cooperation with 108 organizations who refer individuals to our program. Our goal is to connect with individuals who are looking for employment skills training, identification and financial literacy.
JOB DESCRIPTION/TITLE: Administrative Assistant & Reception
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part Time Term Position 22.5 hours weekly
WAGE RANGE: $14.00
LOCATION: 607 Selkirk Avenue
SKILLS REQUIRED
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
- Organize meetings, keep minutes, prepare agenda, connect with meeting participants
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
- Complete work schedules, manage calendars and arrange appointments.
- Troubleshoot problems involving office equipment
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Must have a current and Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Adult/Child Abuse Registry Check
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Good computer knowledge
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Patient with patrons
